CropLife International is a global federation representing the plant science industry. We address international developments in the area of crop protection (pesticides), agbiotechnology (GMOs) and sustainable agriculture. CropLife International aims to provide transparent information to its stakeholders and has entered into an open dialogue with interested parties.
CropLife International supports a network of regional and national associations in 91 countries, and is led by research and development-driven companies such as BASF, Bayer CropScience, Dow Agrosciences, DuPont, FMC, Monsanto, Sumitomo and Syngenta.
Our members are CropLife America, CropLife Latin America, the European Crop Protection Association, CropLife Asia, the Japan Crop Protection Association and CropLife Africa Middle East, which cover the plant science industry’s issues at regional levels. Our activities are financed by these regional associations and by the above-mentioned research and development-driven companies.
CropLife Canada and the Israel Crop Protection Association are associate members of the federation.
The scope of CropLife International’s work includes chemical crop protection (pesticides), agricultural biotechnology (GMO) and sustainable agriculture. We are committed to the safe and responsible use of the industry's products in order to provide safe and abundant food as well as other benefits back to the consumer. Through balancing environmental, economic and societal concerns the plant science industry also contributes significantly to promoting sustainable agriculture.
This website aims to provide you with up-to-date information on issues relating to the plant science industry and sustainable agriculture. It also provides a portal to the regional associations and to the major research and development-driven companies.
