The AgSafe Accreditation and Training (A & T) programme is an industry initiative that assists agricultural and vet chemical businesses to comply with government regulations in Australia. For more than 10 years, the A & T programme has delivered an exemplary national standard for the storage, handling, transportation and recommendation of chemicals.
In addition to face-to-face training courses, A & T offers online interactive instruction courses that train new staff on exactly what they need to know from day one in the workplace. This knowledge includes how to handle farm chemicals as well as how to load and unload them into customersÕ vehicles from the shop to the farm.
The programme sponsors awards such as the AgSafe Achievers award in order to encourage further awareness and participation.
