Zu Maotang, a cotton farmer, was facing ruin because of boll worms, which were resistant to pesticides. Scientist Dr Gui Sandui was experimenting in Bt cotton. They formed a partnership in crop testing. Mr. Zu's yield has increased ten-fold.
